Its unlikely that I can now get those same units, but I do see on ebay
a few in the $40 range, including one that is powered from the keyboard
socket (5V, just like the previous units I had ... I built a PS/2 to
USB cable to power the unit from USB), and another $40 unit that is
more flexible in its input (it can apparently accept up to XGA video
input):

I just bought one of the latter ones to see how well it works...
doesn't hurt to have more of these around... :-) (I had 5 of the
previous ones, which I used with the old Albatech Personal Monitors
HMD's... worked pretty well)...
