If you'll accept the opinion of a layman and stranger, I'ld say that the two
aren't well acquainted yet because issues with battery size and life mean
that even mature electronic devices that _would_ fit in the openings
available to the state of the body modifier's art wouldn't be long-lasting
enough to be worth the hassle of implantation or having to dig in to replace
the battery.
Of course, saying this, someone is going to figure out a decent way to make
an audio-output wifi detector that fits in or around the ear sometime in the
next couple of months.
