[Wear-Hard] USB Chorder working, I'm looking for people already using a 7 key chorder to help it along.

Hi Folks,

The Spiffchorder is in "prerelease". Everything I wanted it to do it
does! It is being released as opensource and without charge. It is a
7 key chorder built on an AVR ATmega8 that you can create your own
chordset for and is seen as a standard usb keyboard by the host
computer.

Once the docs are further along and we have at least one more chord
set for it we will release it. In the mean time if you want to start
building write me and ask for a "pre-release" copy. The code is
solid, I have been using the device daily since ISWC and at this point
(if you like my chords) you can build and use it as well, but before
it goes "public" the docs need to show how to build it and how to set
up your own chords on it. This remains to be done.

Here is the part where I need your help:

I am sure many people have wonderfull ideas of what a device like this
could do, but for now I want to stay focused on what we need to do in
order to get it to the point of a release. To that end, if you are a
user of a 7 button chorder and are willing to share a little time, I
would like to see if I can create a chord map that will let the
spiffchorder act like your fingers already expect your chorder to act.
This will help get the documentation written and provide more choices to
users/builders.

Please write me if you are willing to describe your chorder's chord
set in detail and answer a few questions about the way it works so I
can write an accurate chordmap.

Thanks,

-Greg
