 	No, reversing polarity would not reverse the image. NTSC is 
basically a bunch of threshold voltages. You got a one trigger at the end of 
every scan line, that takes you to the beginning of the next t line like 
the return key on a typewriter. Then you got another big trigger that 
brings you from the lower right hand corner of the signal back up to the 
upper left, so you can start drawing a new screen. Then you got each 
individual pixel.

 	Reversing polarity is a very asymmetric change. You would likely 
lose all of your triggers, instead triggering off of random bits of your 
signal causing what will probably look like a blurry field of color 
that is both horizontally or vertically scrolling.
