I bought one of Wild Planet's Spy Video ATV-360 today it's going for $66 at Target and WalMart.  The video is vary clear much beter than any webcam I've owned or that old X10 wireless camera. The only problem so far is that optics give the HMD a vary norrow Field of view of the screen will become completely blurred.  From the why it behaves when you turn off the Vehicle it appears that it transmites the video as a digital signal.  I haven't checked the TRS connector to see which one is video and which ones are power, let alone if it's RS-170.  Hopefully it's the same connecter as the old Video Spy Car.

BTW: this is the most unfriendly packaging I've ever seen the Vehical is attaches to the cardboard box to 4 phillips SCREWS and 4 Heavy duty plastic brackets.  The controller has anuther 2 screws and each going threw heavy duty plastic rectangles.
