[Wear-Hard] Eee-PC as wearable?

Hehe, I agree, that's a great idea indeed. Because most of the system
is already there, it's not necessary to focus on hardware, I suggest
concentrating on the aesthetic, ergonomic and software side of things!
With the revolution of cheap small computing (i.e. netbooks) the
interest wearable computing may grow and advance our community!

What resolution are you trying to run your HMD with (and what model
are you using)? IIRC MicroOptical's 640x480 monocular with VGA input
was designed to take 800x600 and downscale it appropriately.

What exactly is the battery life of the EEE PC anyway? Can't you just
build a cheap regulated external battery pack? I use a small external
60wh pack with my Sony UX to get 5 extra hours of runtime.
