Any one know how this is difference from the P5 glove?
Beside of obvious that it cost $500 instead of the $130($50 on clearance) and uses Accelerometers instead of IR and Flex sensors.
But difference between the Acceleglove and P5 seems to be like the difference between a ball mouse and and optical mouse.
And has Accelerometers improved that much from since the Wii came out? They Wiimote had to have a IR camera put in it to be able to tell where on the screen you are pointing. As any one that played Wii golf can tell you 06's accelerometer tech can't track fine movements.
Like Robert Spence said when talking about Identification by pointing: the 'teletouch' facility
"Indeed, the realization of a pointing-direction sensor is considerably eased by the comparatively low accuracy which can be tolerated (approximately +/-2 degrees) given that conformatory feedback (the ""finger-print) allows errors to be corrected by a small movement of the hand."
