Tree Vision? Cool! :) I can't wait tell I can my webcam and remove the IR filter so I can see these "trees" too. :D

640x480? you buy anuther WebCam?
I though you had a QuickCam Communicate MP which does 960x720?
Do you have any processed film laying around? you can use it you filter out the visible spectrum.
Thou I found this interesting comparison of diffrant Filters from a place that sells them.
I think I may go with a UV and IR pass filter that only blocks out the visible spectrum then combine that footage with another cam with normal filters
