This has been a trying year for me in a lot of ways. I feel particularly stressed right now, since we just moved. But nevertheless, a trying year. So, what have I learned? Far more, I think, then I really wanted to. Isn't that always the way? I learned... ...that making lists doesn't help if you ignore the lists. ...that Greg is better than I am at finances. ...that I have the organizational skills of a brick. ...that tendonitis *hurts* and there's not much you can do about it, except chop off your hands, which isn't an option. ...that I'm really glad I joined the Knights. ...that moving is still the worst thing in the world. ...actually, moving with tendonitis is the worst thing in the world. ...that I miss having people over my place. ...that I put my faith in the wrong things. ...that there are people I can't trust. ...that I'm not the only one who has problems staying in touch with people. ...that life rarely gets easier. ...that my parents are still the coolest parents in the world. ...that cats purr when you let them sleep on the bed. ...that I have a lot more to learn. ...but, for all of that, I'm all right. Really. |
