I went for more testing for my hands on Monday. They've been doing routine tests to make sure I'm not developing anything worse, and to be sure that I'm not being affected by the long term painkiller use. So.... I get a call yesterday to set up another appt. for next Thursday. My white blood cell count is low. The nurse didn't sound concerned, but they practice that, I know 'cause Dad is a nurse. My count isn't out of the range of acceptable, but it is low, and I think they are worried it will get lower. What does this mean? I have no idea. Ah, well, back to the Dr. next Thursday. I hate giving blood. Not because I'm afraid of needles or anything like that -- because it is so annoying. I have very tiny little veins and it takes them forever to get blood from me. *sigh* I'm hoping everything will be normal. Well, as normal as a year of tendonitis can be. |
